Words and photos

The words, photos, and footage on Maroon Astro are © 2026 HEATDRAWN LLC. Don’t reuse them without asking me first. Quoting a short passage with a link back to the piece is fine.

Picks

A pick is what I found, as of the month on its label. Prices, hours, and conditions change. Check before you book.

“Is it safe” pieces

These describe what I saw and what happened to me. They aren’t ratings or safety advice. Check the official travel advisories too.

Links and sponsors

Pieces link to other sites, which have their own terms. Some of those links earn me money, and the pick’s box says so right next to the link. How I pick and check explains which links earn and who pays for what.

Sponsored pieces, sponsored picks, and sponsors are labeled.

Replies

When you reply to an issue, you let me consider your words for a future issue. I run a reply only with your permission, signed with your first name and town.

When these terms change, I update the date at the top, and the new terms apply from then on.
